Before you cut, door operations, sink skirts

New
  • Before you cut: one list before nesting of everything that will not cut as expected, with a fix for each. Holes no drill can make block the nest until you choose to cut without them
  • Too big for the sheet: parts that will not fit are caught before nesting, with Turn the grain or Leave out
  • Holes with no drill: a machine can cut holes with a router bit when no drill matches. Off by default, with a Hole sizes card showing which holes each machine can make
  • Door standards can carry pull and hinge holes, with overrides for a project, room or cabinet
  • Sink skirts: sink base openings get a skirt, cut around the stretcher, with dividers running to the top
  • Toe rails can be bored into the ends, and an end can run past the toe face
  • Programs: filter by part type, and include or exclude parts
  • Drawer boxes: set the bottom height, and let a guide set its own top and bottom clearance

  • Cut sizing: let the machine's own tool table size each cut, the way most shops' programs already run, with a finish allowance. Schlabach's SCM M400 now cuts this way to match its own programs; Anderson Selexx offers it once the tool table is loaded and a test part is cut
  • Paid support calls: a call type is free or charged at one hourly rate, and support can send a "Pick a time" link, free if we choose
  • Chat inside a support call, kept on the call's page next to the recording and transcript
  • Add people or add time during a call without leaving the room
  • Material maps can apply to a construction type or a standard, each with its own default

  • Frame top: a third top type, a full top with the opening cut through it

  • Support calls stand on their own: a Calls tab and a page for each call, apart from messages. Anyone who cannot use computer audio can call in by phone with their own PIN. Staff run them from Support admin, with call types and scheduling
  • Deleting a library item now shows where it is used and offers a replacement, and a project missing an item says so before it goes to output

  • Pick a default edgebander for your shop, and choose the CNC, saw and edgebander for a run in Machine Code
  • Cut or Finished sizes: switch reports, the Shop tab and Machine Code between cut size and finished size, with a default for your shop and your own preference
  • Two-sided CNC machining: parts with work on both faces get a back-face program and a front-face program, with a flip step between them

  • Rail Alignment for panel ends: a panel end's rails line up with the neighboring doors and drawer fronts, and middle rails are added and removed for you
  • Dimension settings for every drawing view, including all cabinet and part views. Back, right and bottom views follow their pair until you split them
  • Text size per view in the drawing theme, so plan text can be larger than cabinet view text
  • Flip hinges from the room: right-click a cabinet, or use the new Hinge section in cabinet properties
  • Grain column in the Machine Code parts and sheet tables
