The rule is simple. If someone needs to change something, laying out a room, editing a cabinet, adjusting standards, running output, they are a paid user at $99 USD a month. If someone only needs to look at the work, they are free.
That covers production staff, foremen, CNC operators, installers, project managers, and office staff, plus your customers viewing their own designs. A typical three-user shop might have ten to twenty other people who need to see designs, drawings, and cut lists. With Grainwork, that access costs $0 extra. Everywhere else in this industry, those seats add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars a month.

Our path to launch
We are building in the open and bringing shops in as we go. Here is where things stand and what comes next.
First part cut on a CNC
August 10, 2026A real part, cut on a real machine, from a job drawn in Grainwork.
First beta shops
August 2026Our first shops start running real work through Grainwork. We are onboarding more every week.
Beta testing and feedback
September – December 2026Beta shops run real jobs. We find the obvious bugs, make it easier to use, and build what they tell us is missing. This is the hardest phase to put a date on.
First public launch
January 2027Grainwork opens to the public. We will likely cap signups per week so onboarding and support stay solid.
Full public launch
March – April 2027Signup caps come off. New customers come in at standard pricing.

Straight answers
Who counts as a paid user?
Anyone who needs to make changes. Laying out rooms, editing cabinets, adjusting standards, running CNC output, changing anything in a project. If a person needs to change something, they need a paid seat at $99 USD per month.
Who is free?
Anyone who only needs to look. Shop viewers, production staff, CNC operators, installers, project managers, office staff, and your customers all get read access at no charge. They see designs, drawings, and cut lists. They just cannot edit.
Are there any contracts?
No. Cancel any time, no questions asked. There is nothing to sign and no minimum term.
Do I get a discount for adding more users?
No, and you do not get penalized either. Every paid user is $99 USD per month, whether you have one or twenty. No volume tiers, no renegotiation.
Will pricing change over time?
It may as Grainwork grows. If it ever does, you will hear it from us directly before it happens, not as a surprise line on an invoice.
